Bryce Rivera (BA in Choral Music Education ‘25), is currently attending California State University Fullerton where he is earning a bachelors in Choral Music Education and a minor in Adolescent Development. He currently sings tenor in the acclaimed CSUF University Singers under the direction of Grammy-Award-winning Dr. Robert Istad and has studied undergraduate Music Education with Dr. Christopher Peterson. Bryce Rivera attended Canyon High School (‘20) and was Student Director of the Tenor-Bass Ensemble and sang in the Canyon High School Chamber Singers under the direction of Ariel May (Fullerton College); he studied private voice with James Martin Schaefer (LA Opera) and Dr. Kerry Jennings. Bryce is the proud recipient of the CSUF Thorsen Endowed Scholarship, the Anna Ludmila Kruzic Music Scholarship, the Kathryn T. McCarthy Academic Scholarship, Dean's Scholarship from the College of the Arts, and the Helen Walker Memorial Scholarship from Fullerton First United Methodist Church.  During his time off or when he is not practicing, he can be found at a local coffee shop, hiking, or obsessing over ducks. Bryce's future aspirations involve becoming a high school choir director and inspiring students through his dedication to diverse education and music.
